Trail & Recreation

The Mission Boulevard Bridge Project includes the construction of a new separated multipurpose trail along the south side of the bridge, providing a safe and accessible crossing of the Santa Ana River for pedestrians, cyclists, and equestrians.

  • About the Trail

The new trail will run along the south side of the 1,100-foot bridge, fully separated from vehicle traffic. It is designed to accommodate pedestrians, cyclists, and equestrians, and will include a direct connection to the Santa Ana River Trail. The trail is a key feature of the project and reflects a commitment to improving access and recreation options for the communities of Jurupa Valley andRiverside.

  • Santa Ana River Trail Connection

The new trail will connect directly to the existing Santa Ana River Trail, an important regional recreational corridor that runs through Riverside and Jurupa Valley. This connection will make it easier for residents to access the trail network on both sides of the river.
