Construction Alert: Week of May 11, 2026

Nighttime lane closures continue on the Mission Boulevard bridge for northern span demolition.

Carlson Bark Park remains closed. 

Santa Ana River Trail access remains open to pedestrians and cyclists.

Traffic impacts:
May 11-15 | Monday through Friday nights | 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
🔹 One lane open on the bridge during nighttime work
🔹 Flaggers and a pilot car will guide traffic through the work zone
🔹 Expect up to 10-minute delays

These closures are needed to safely demolish the northern bridge span before reconstruction begins. The southern span will remain open during this stage of construction.

Expect delays and use alternate routes when possible.
